Error in Circuit Ideas ?

The circuit idea 20031102 for a magnetic amplifier regulator (https://ac-dc.power.com/products/product-documents/ferrite-magamp-flyback-ps/) is good. However I believe the dot notation as drawn is out of phase for it to work correctly?

Surely the impedance of the magnetic circuit (therefore affecting output voltage) can only be changed during the output energy transfer cycle in which case the dot notation is incorrect ?

Positive energy flowing from the rectifier diode (+) is applied to the primary dot but the secondary dot (+) is grounded so the transistor cannot conduct when it needs to - or is my understanding way off?

Hi Wiserguy,

I see, I'll report this and change the error immediately. Thank you for your feedback!
