Having problems understanding the ins and outs of California’s Title 20 Appliance Efficiency Regulations? Help is on the way. The California Energy Commission (CEC) has just announced a live, interactive webinar covering the fundamentals of the state’s appliance efficiency standards program.

Conducted by the CEC’s efficiency division staff, the two-hour “Title 20 Boot Camp” will begin at 10:00 AM (Pacific Time) on Tuesday, August 15th. Four, 30-minute sessions will cover an overview of appliance efficiency regulations, appliance database basics, new and proposed Title 20 regulations, and Title 20 resources.

NOTE: The webinar is now over. View a recording of the webinar.

In related news, the CEC has extended the comment period for stakeholders to submit proposals on its Phase 2 Appliance Efficiency Regulations and Roadmap activity (see Mr. Green Blog, What’s Next for California’s Appliance Efficiency Standards?). Comments can now be submitted up to September 18, 2017. Phase 2 appliance efficiency standards and roadmaps activity affect commercial and industrial fans and blowers, general service lamps, sprinkler spray bodies, tub-spout diverters, irrigation controllers, set-top boxes, low-power modes and power factor, and solar inverters. Proposals can be submitted using the CEC’s website, by email, or by mail. Click here for more details.
