3-phase power supply design problem

Posted by: amirhusain73 on

Hello I am Amir. I have design a 3 phase power supply of 5V and 2W using Powerint I.C Tiny254. phase to neutral volts for each phase are 230-265V. But I am facinga lot of problem in this design (design schametic is attached in file) some time its fusible resistors are burnt and some time Tiny254 I.C damaged. Please advice me is there any design fault in my design. I am looking forward for someone help.

Is this design in mass production? Or are these bench failures? If they are failing in the field it may be lightning surge.

What is your TNY254 Drain to Source peak voltage during normal operation? At startup?

Q1 appears to be a linear regulator circuit - you are better off using our "StackFET" circuit. It doesn't have the power dissipation loss of your linear regulator:
