LNK6666E based Powersupply - Modify output voltage

Posted by: thanibee on

I have an existing board based on LNK6666E that is providing 36V at 1.5A as per specification. Is it possible to reduce the output voltage to 24V by modifying the feedback voltage divider resistors. Is there a formula to calculate the output voltage?

Thanks for any help.

what is the input voltage range & output power required at 24V?

Input 85-265V AC @50Hz
Output wattage required is 24V *2.5A = 60W

You need to redesign transformer in order to regulate output voltage to 24V.
Please use online PI XLs Designer v10.2 tool to redesign the transformer.
Since power level is is higher, I recommend to size heat sink appropriately.
