120Watts PWR Supply

Hi,
I want to design a power supply, with approximativelly 48 or 60V output (not nessary exact) , could I use TOP249 with an input 85-265VAC ? or I should use a PFC ?

The TOPSwitch-JX (TOP264~TOP271) is recommended for new designs.

The TOP270 and TOP271 can do 120W in an open frame thermal environment.

The decision to use PFC is usually driven by the spec requirements (i.e. is PF > 0.9 required?)
