LNK6769 design, How to adjust output voltage..?

Posted by: Rahul Surawase on

Hello PI,
We are using LNK6769 for to design 60W power supply, but there was heating issues on full load it crosses 140degC which is not reliable and affect on other system components
For to improvisation we observe the most heating components in the circuit which is LNK6769, Output diode and Core
For LNK6769 heating issues we used bigger size of heatsink
For Output diode trying use High power rating diode
But when we try to replace core that time it's too difficult to adjust again output voltage there is any simple way to adjust Output voltage or documentation

I attached Old core design file and new core design file, please find the attachment.

Thanks,
Rahul

Hi Rahul,

Did you replace the core with different material? It shouldn't changed your output regulation when you use the same recommended inductance.

For tweaking your output regulation you can trim feedback resistors R10 and R11. When you increase resistance of R10 regulation will increase while increasing R11 resistance will reduce output regulation.

Hi...you can set the base framework voltage by keeping in touch with REG01 bits [3:1]. The SYS_MIN range is 2.6-3.7 V.

Notwithstanding, VSYS can be higher than this base worth if VBAT > SYS_MIN. Kindly allude to Section 8.3.7.8 of the datasheet, which depicts the NVDC design and shows how VBAT and VSYS are connected.
