Hi
I used in TVS(130v brake ) for transformer clamp voltage
i should to add resistor in series to TVS
how i calculate to value of the resistor?

hI I AM USING lnk306pn bASED POWER SUPPLY TO make 12V output. Also i am using 320V MOV(B72214S0321K101). During 1KV Phase to neutral surge its failing. is it correct or i need to use different MOV. what is the maximum input voltage i can allow to LNK.
Use a bigger MOV.

For the clamp, perhaps you can use an RCD+zener arrangement per the attached. If so, you can use our PI Expert tool to calculate the appropriate value of the resistor.
